Reporting to the Plant Manager you will be responsible for managing the all the operations activities within the injection and blow molding plant (headcount 95). You will serve as coach and mentor to a developing staff while performing the following duties.

Responsibilities:

Lead, manage and develop plant employees to assure the necessary capabilities and culture are in place to maintain and improve a “Center of Excellence” operationIn conjunction with the Plant Manager, establish and manage activities to meet / exceed short- and long-term plant goalsLead in the development of a plant safety culture with a focus on developing an employee led safety focus programManage production efforts to meet service, quality and cost goalsManage implementation of continuous improvement projects and programsEstablish and manage cost reduction strategies and activitiesManage plant technology, innovations, and project strategy in combination with product management and technology leadersMaintain communication with customers (internal/external) and provide technical support as required

Requirements:

Must be located or willing to relocate to OhioBachelor’s Degree; Engineering Degree is preferredMinimum of 7 years of increasing responsibility in a manufacturing environmentSuccessful track record in managing large teams of >50 employeesDemonstrated ability to prioritize and make timely decisionsPrevious experience in managing employee safetySolid project planning and management skills, using standard project management tools
