Responsibilities1. Overseeing Warehouse Operations: Manage day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently.\n2. Staff Management: Engage, train, and supervise warehouse staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance to ensure productivity and adherence to safety standards.\n3. Inventory Management: Operate the warehouse according to inventory policies.\n4. Logistics Coordination: Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including the scheduling of shipments, receiving goods, and ensuring timely deliveries to customers.\n5. Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, and supporting regular safety audits and training sessions for staff.\n6. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.\n7. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance metrics, including inventory turnover, order fulfillment rates, and operational efficiency.\n8. Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as inventory and support functions, to ensure alignment and support overall business objectives.\n9. Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining accurate order fulfillment and addressing any issues that arise promptly.\n10. Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance of the warehouse facility, ensuring it is organized, clean, and conducive to efficient operations.Requirements\nA bachelor's degree in Industrial engineer, logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is often preferred. Some positions may accept equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.\nSeveral years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management, often with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.\nProficiency in using warehouse management software and technology, as well as familiarity with inventory management systems.\nStrong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in training, mentoring, and motivating staff.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess operations, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members, other departments, and external partners.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.\nUnderstanding of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations to ensure a safe working environment.\nAbility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure, particularly during peak seasons or unexpected situations.\nFamiliarity with basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and the ability to learn new software quickly.\nRelevant certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), or Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) certification may be advantageous.\n
