The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and innovation while coordinating with other departments. This role involves managing production processes, technical preparation, and the development and implementation of new technologies. Additionally, the Operations Manager will lead, motivate, and develop their team to achieve high performance and maintain compliance with industry standards and organizational goals.

What will your responsibilities be?      

Provide support to all plant operations/production departments to include production, quality, cost and safety.Managing the team’s production, technical, technological, and personnel activities.Coaching and mentoring team members to enhance performance and foster growth.Solving serial and strategic problems, conducting in-depth analyses, and implementing corrective actions.Creating an optimal system and conditions for the team’s activities, ensuring their development and motivation, providing feedback, evaluating subordinates, and participating in their selection.Overseeing the implementation of the "5S" principles within management responsibilities.Ensuring all safety standards are observed and always maintained.Ensuring compliance with standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, as well as customer requirements, CSR, VW VDA norms, and Formel Q.Implementing and monitoring BOS, KAIZEN, AMS, and Six Sigma methodologies.Ensuring the long-term fulfillment of key performance indicators (KPIs) for the plant.Actively participating in continuous improvement processes.

Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?

University degree in technical engineering, industrial engineering or proven record of relevant experience.Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership position within industrial engineering, preferably in the automotive sector, including team management and strategic planning/budgeting of production activities.Experience with implementing Continuous Improvement (CI) projects.Experience in solving strategic production management problems, including related processes.Experience in strategic planning and budgeting of production activities.Experience in implementing technical changes and introducing new technological processes.Knowledge of MS Office and tools and techniques for process improvement, such as Poka-Yoke, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing. Knowledge of MTM methodology and the ability to use it for process analysis and optimization.Knowledge of IATF 16949 and Formel Q, (VDA 6.3) standards.Ability to think strategically, lead teams, and make decisions under pressure.Fluency in English language.Fluency in German language is advantage.Category B driver’s license.
