To lead and manage the express and domestic operations at Aramex, ensuring efficient, timely, and cost-effective delivery of shipments. The role involves overseeing daily operations, optimizing logistics processes, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day express and domestic shipment operations including pickup, sorting, linehaul, and last-mile delivery. Ensure compliance with Aramex’s operational standards and procedures. Monitor KPIs such as delivery timelines, shipment accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor operations staff including couriers, warehouse personnel, and dispatchers. Conduct regular training sessions on safety, process improvements, and customer service. Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Collaborate with IT and logistics teams to leverage technology for route optimization and real-time tracking. Customer Service & SLA Management: Ensure service levels are met or exceeded for all express and domestic shipments. Handle escalations and resolve operational issues affecting customer satisfaction. Reporting & Compliance: Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, cost analysis, and improvement plans. Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with sales, customer service, and finance teams to align operational goals with business objectives. Coordinate with regional and global teams for best practice sharing and system upgrades. Job Requirements - Experience and Education Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or express delivery operations, preferably in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of domestic and express shipment processes. Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
