Volt is immediately hiring for an Operations Manager in Meadville, PA. This role will have the opportunity for advancement in the future to V.P. of Operations and eventually COO.

\r\n\r\n

As the Operations Manager you will supervise the Production and Tool Shop departments for a plastic injection molding and contract manufacturer. Within this role, you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tPlan, direct and have overall responsibility for the Production & Tool Shop. \r\n\tMaintain contact with appropriate customer decision-makers.\r\n\tProvide direct assistance to the President/CEO as appropriate opportunities arise.\r\n\tCarry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.\r\n\tInterview, hire, train, plan, assign, direct, reward, and discipline employees.\r\n\tAddress complaints and resolve problems.\r\n\tDevelop measurable targets and goals for continuous improvement in Manufacturing Operations; Production and Tool Shop.\r\n\tProvide support as deemed necessary for competitive tooling quotes.\r\n\tProvide customer service in a prompt, courteous manner.\r\n\tEstablish departmental budgets\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity.

\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tBachelor’s degree or equivalent; or ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\r\n\tExperience working in a LEAN manufacturing facility.\r\n\tDirect leadership experience\r\n\tExperience with plastic injection molding highly preferred\r\n\tAbility to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, corporate procedures, legal documents and blueprints. \r\n\tAbility to communicate with internal and external customers and vendors in a clear and concise manner. \r\n\tAbility to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as statistics and accounting.\r\n\tMust have strong people skills and the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in behavior, attire, and attitude.\r\n\tMust be well spoken and comfortable with public speaking.\r\n\tAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. \r\n\tAbility to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Salary: $80,000- $100,000 per year

\r\n\r\n

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
