Operations Manager

Description We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in the non-profit sector in GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of administrative operations, particularly focusing on human resources. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, recruiting and training volunteers, and promoting the organization's purpose to the public.
Responsibilities:
• Implement HR audit and control processes in accordance with laws and regulations
• Play a key role in staffing and volunteer recruitment, including job posting, interviews, selection, screenings, background checks, and orientation
• Respond to employee questions regarding compensation and labor regulations
• Develop and implement safety and accident prevention programs
• Oversee the enrollment, renewal, and delivery of employee benefits
• Streamline HR processes and procedures for improved efficiency
• Manage schedules for employee time-off and vacations while ensuring accurate documentation
• Maintain confidential records of employee and volunteer data
• Collaborate in the creation and updating of job descriptions
• Participate in maintaining accreditation standards
• Foster an environment of inclusivity, engagement, and recognition
• Participate in community events, boards, and committees as required, and carry out other duties as needed. Requirements • Must have experience in ADP - Financial Services
• Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now is required
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is essential
• Must have experience with Ceridian software
• Dayforce proficiency is a must
• Should have knowledge of Benefit Functions in a non-profit environment
• Excellent communication skills are required
• Must have a strong understanding of Compliance in a non-profit setting
• Experience in Employee Relations is essential
• Must have knowledge of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) in a non-profit context. TalentMatch®
