Our client, a leader in highway maintenance, is looking for a dedicated Operations Manager to join their team in Dryden, ON. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the high quality and safety focused culture of a well-established company.
As an Operations Manager you will be responsible in managing and coordinating road maintenance activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. You will oversee the day-to-day operations, manage a dedicated team, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
What You Will Receive: Competitive salary $72000 - $76000 / annually Retention bonus (5% bonus) RRSP Matching (3.5% match from day 1!) Health benefits from day 1 Company vehicle with gas card
What You Will Be Doing: Oversee and manage all operational aspects of road maintenance projects, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation Lead and develop a team of skilled maintenance workers, foremen, and superintendents Ensure all work complies with company policies, regulatory standards, and environmental guidelines Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operational efficiency Monitor project budgets, timelines, and overall performance metrics Implement and maintain a robust safety culture, ensuring that safety protocols are followed at all times
What You Will Need: Proven experience in operations management, preferably within the road maintenance or construction industry Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges DZ license is preferred but not required
