Site Operations Manager
Job Description:
The Site Operations Manager (SM) is the senior level leader for the company on site, responsible for all operational and fulfilment aspects for contracted industrial services delivered to customer. The SM is expected to be a role model in our safety standards and on-the-job behavior by living our core principles of integrity; fairness, creating a positive, inclusive work environment, and ensuring open communication among leaders and associates. Accountabilities include ensuring regulatory compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and environmental and labor regulations, as well as company and client policy and procedures. The SM’s key duties and responsibilities are diverse, and involve business administrative, operational and functional support areas/elements, to include, but not limited to the following:
Key Functions
Drive a culture of operational excellence that will positively impact safety, quality of services and delivery, continuous improvement and value creation.Site safety performance; ensure audit/monitoring and compliance.Daily operations management oversight; direction and coordination of all support services and activities at facility/plant, which include capital construction projects, facilities maintenance, and other ancillary services.Define, implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs/metrics) to measure operational performance; initiate continuous improvement and innovation within business delivery functions, and conduct performance and progress reporting (monthly and quarterly status and trending, both internally and to client)Manning projection, forecasting and staffing to need; oversee HR dept. efforts, such as recruiting and retention, and manage employee relations and personnel matters in accordance with company policies, with assistance and coordination with CorporateMonthly and annual budgeting, forecasting, expenditures, cost performance and effectiveness.Development and training of associates including coaching, mentoring and performance management; oversee administration of employee skills training, annual refresher training, and/or necessary certificationsParticipates and/or leads initiatives for capital projects and problem-solving activitiesAssures purchasing functions follow established policies and proceduresManagement oversight of AP/AR and invoicing processes and approvalsOverall P&L performanceContract deliverables and adherence; commercial negotiations, etc.Customer liaison and relationshipSkills & Qualifications
Eight to ten (8-10) years’ experience in Operations Mgt., as a key leader in facility, construction, maintenance, warehousing, and/or logistics operations.Proven management experience and strong leadership capabilities and skills in a dynamic environment. Successful track record of managing a diverse organization with staff of several direct reports from supporting departments (e.g. HSE, QA/QC, Accounting, HR, Project Controls, etc.).Promotes a collaborative and inclusive environment. Relationship savvy with ability to assemble, motivate, and engage strong, cohesive and capable teams focused on achieving goals and objectives.Customer focused with ability to understand customer needs, and build/sustain an organization that is responsive, flexible and adaptive to deliver services timely and effectively in support of business objectives.Previous experience with managing direct-hire, skilled Maintenance trades and site services work.Planning and Project Management skills and experience, to include capital projects, as well as facility support services, maintenance and planned outagesExcellent written and verbal communication skills; computer proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPt, etc.Ability to develop and nurture strong relationships at all levels within the organization, as well as interface with customers as the primary daily liaison for the company.Knowledge of manufacturing processes is helpful, as well as competency with basic fundamentals of electrical, mechanical and other skilled trades workStrong decision and problem-solving skillsStrong analytical, planning, organizational and time management skillsExperience Level

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00
