What this role is responsible for:
As the Crimson Capstone Operations Manager, you will oversee our pathway-specific advisor teams to ensure high-quality project completion across our six core pathways: Ventures & Business, Engineering & Innovation, Software & Technology, Social Impact & Advocacy, Arts & Media, and Education & Programs. You'll manage processes to maintain consistent project quality, handle escalations, and support regional senior advisors in delivering measurable student outcomes.
Required Skills/Technical Proficiencies
Proficient in English
Bachelor’s degree; advanced degrees welcome
2+ years of experience in operations and people management, particularly in educational or project-based environments
Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL) and project management softwareStrong understanding of project-based learning and outcome measurement
Demonstrated ability to work across different cultural contexts
Excellence in stakeholder management and communication
Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to drive systems improvement and optimization
Main Responsibilities
Data Management & Technical Operations
Build and maintain complex Google Sheets systems for tracking advisor performance, student progress, and outcome achievement
Create automated reporting systems and dashboards for real-time monitoring
Develop and optimize data collection processes across all pathways
Implement data validation and quality control measures
Design efficient systems for managing advisor allocations and availability
Create technical documentation for all operational processes
Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
Maintain and troubleshoot tracking systems and databases
Pathway-Based Advisor Management
Work with Recruitment to maintain optimal advisor coverage across all six pathways, ensuring appropriate expertise levels for each project type
Track and analyze pathway-specific KPIs and outcome achievement rates
Develop specialized onboarding programs for each pathway's unique requirements
Create and maintain pathway-specific best practices and resources
Quality Assurance & Outcome Achievement
Monitor project progression through defined outcome levels (1-3) across all pathways
Ensure consistent quality in deliverables (e.g., pitch decks, prototypes, campaigns)
Implement standardized validation processes for each pathway's outcomes
Track and optimize student achievement rates across different project types
Student-Advisor Matching & Support
Optimize student-advisor matching based on project pathway, expertise requirements, and intended outcomes
Manage allocation processes to ensure appropriate advisor expertise for each project type
Provide pathway-specific guidance for complex projects or escalations
Support advisors in helping students achieve defined outcome levels
Operational Excellence
Develop and maintain systems for tracking project progress across pathways
Create and optimize workflows for each project type
Implement quality control measures for pathway-specific deliverables
Manage communication channels between advisors, students, and support teams
Regular reporting on pathway performance and outcome achievement

Strong advisor retention rates and positive feedback across pathways
