DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to play a vital role in coordinating our daily logistics requirements.

Are you ready to take on the challenge of coordinating and optimizing logistics in a dynamic environment?

To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management practices and a demonstrative understanding of storage and distribution procedures. In this role, you will be responsible for inbound, pick and outbound operations, and will have full control of the operating budget for headcount. You'll take full ownership of site Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental control, ensuring all standards are met. Additionally, you'll be actively managing team performance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

\n\nLead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for direct reports and problem-resolution\nManage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service\nLead weekly and monthly customer review meetings\nMaintain constant communication with customers, managers, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the company\nEnsure that operational activities remain on time and within budget\n\n

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

\n\nAt least 5 years of experience in operational and functional logistics management\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nDegree-level education or BTEC Higher qualification preferred\nProven experience managing complex warehouse contracts\nStrong knowledge of Quality and Environmental management systems\n\n
