Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager in the manufacturing industry, located in Franklin, Indiana. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing floor, ensuring quality assurance, and managing the production team. You will also be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, maintaining manufacturing equipment, managing nonconforming materials, and supporting during audits. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the manufacturing floor to ensure production schedules are met efficiently and within budget. • Lead, train, and support the production team, including Buyers and Inventory Control. • Develop and implement manufacturing processes and control plans, such as inspection plans, first articles, and process validation. • Ensure all manufacturing equipment is maintained and in best working order. • Maintain complete and accurate records of quality control, production processes, and training activities. • Develop and implement risk management strategies and corrective and preventative actions. • Provide support during internal and external audits of the quality management system and manufacturing processes. • Continuously improve product quality and customer satisfaction by reviewing and addressing internal and external customer feedback. Requirements • MUST have experience with manufactured products. • Experience with ERP Solutions will be considered a significant advantage. • The candidate should have a thorough understanding of budget processes. • Experience in buying processes is essential for this role. • Exceptional customer service skills are a prerequisite for this role. • The candidate should be able to handle invoices proficiently.
