Ensure the day-by-day execution of the production schedule and delivery with responsibility for safety,quality, time and costs of serial production Balance resources and ensure a cost-efficient production Ensure that incoming material and components meet the design specification clearly at the right quality,
price, quantity and deliveryResponsible for the logistical performance and develops strategies to achieve committed WIP and
inventory levelsEnsure that new projects are prepared and launched under the committed targets Ensure that production plants and equipment are available (maintained and purchased) to meet production
demands Responsible to apply TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and to improve the plants and equipment where
possible Support and foster operational excellenceEnsure a mandatory level of 5S and technical cleanliness Ensure that all customer orders and schedules are received correctly, interpreted for production, planned
and transferred to the shop floor and purchase to take place in order to meet the customer requirements Responsible to apply SMED and small lot production cycles where applicable Ensure that existing facilities in the plant are maintained in a safe working order in order to maintain the
environment and ensure that shareholder receives ROI Ensure and support continuous improvement process on shop floor and office areas in order to maintain
competitiveness and profitability Involved in Problem Solving and applies the committed techniqueSupport the development of a coherent manufacturing strategy covering short-, medium- and long-term horizons Encompassing all manufacturing resources, e.g. Production, Planning, Engineering etc. to fit with the overall strategic investment company development Responsible for CoP (Conformity of Production) and compliance with the required Standards (QS / ISO/TS / VDA) on the shop floor Support the budgeting process of the company and ensure meeting and exceeding the business targets Leadership Deploying employees corresponding to their qualifications within the relevant structure. Instructing and supporting employees in a target-oriented and motivating manner to fulfill the tasks Guiding, instructing and supporting employees in function-related tasks Responsible for hiring process and sustain the team performance and evaluation as well as qualification demands Managing of employees according to targets and delegation, to select, to qualify and further develop employees on the basis of a culture of trust, control effectiveness, in order to develop and compensate potential and promote individual competencies, to achieve the targets of the department.
