Job Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager (MPP Vessels) to oversee daily maritime operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity. The role involves coordinating agency appointments, reviewing PDAs and FDAs, and communicating with charterers, brokers, agents, and vessels. Responsibilities include planning and supervising loading & discharging operations, coordinating with masters, port captains, stevedores, and agents for efficient turnaround. The candidate will monitor vessel movements, prepare cargo stowage plans, and oversee hold cleaning, including chemical supply and supervision. Key duties include bunker supply planning, handling claims, liaising with P&I clubs and legal teams, and supervising critical cargo operations. This role requires cost control, voyage expense verification, and supporting chartering teams in cargo uplift, vessel suitability, and port information inquiries. Requirements:
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Maritime Studies/Nautical Science, 6-10 years of experience in bulk/breakbulk/project cargo operations, and Master Mariner experience is preferred. Experience in loading windmill components/project cargo and proficiency in CAD, FEMAP, or similar software for stowage planning will be advantageous.
