To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced Operations Manager Logistics (m/f/d) to join our brand new location in Bremen.

  

As Operations Manager (m/f/d), you will ensure smooth running of day-to-day operations and help to expand of our warehouse for a large European multichannel distributor in Bremen with up to approx. 400 employees. There is still plenty of scope for organizational measures and the opportunity to contribute your own ideas and visions. As an experienced leader you play a key role in maintaining good customer relations and successful people management - true to the motto: happy people - happy customer.  

 

What does your day look like in the role of our Operations Manager:

Planning and management of day-to-day operations in inbound and outbound logistics Cost and revenue responsibility Employee- and device-management including personnel planning with shift leaders based on volume data of the customer Control for a team of up to 100 employees Direct communication with internal and external customers, also at management level  Monitoring and, if necessary, initiating countermeasures with regard to compliance with SLA specifications  Continuous monitoring of relevant KPIs and proposed solutions for countermeasures as required  Continuous process improvement 

 

What do you need to be successful:

Strong background in the logistics/supply chain sector Very good knowledge of logistics processes  and proven professional experience in the management of larger teams   Experience with startup organizations is a plus Knowledge of common WMS systems  Very good MS Office user skills, especially Excel  Fluent level of German and good level of English are mandatory Flexibility and resilience, very good communication skills
