Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop INOPC Marine and Ports operations services across operations domains e.g., Bids and Proposal, Project execution, Engineering & Commissioning, Supply chain. You will lead with your function managers, manage performance and customer satisfaction, coordinate development towards excellence, supervise the effective delivery and operational performance of the services in scope.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Process Automation business for Marine & Ports division based in Bangalore, Chennai India.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tEnd To End accountability for the India Operations Centre PA - Marine & Ports operations.•\tDevelop PAMP INOPC organization and strengthen relationships with PAMP BLs/LBLs on operations.•\tLead efforts on employee engagement and retaining talent in PAMP INOPC teams. Ensure project deliverables are on track.•\tChange management to ensure claim management from customer/vendors.•\tAct as point of contact for escalations whenever there is a need for and/or manage challenging situations. Control performance through KPIs.•\tIdentify and deliver Continuous Improvement Projects to ensure operational efficiencies.•\tResource Planning, Performance evaluation and competency building of the team to ensure high level of team performance.
Qualifications for the role\tFull -time bachelor’s or master’s in engineering, preferably electrical or electronics with 15 to 20 years of experience.\tExperience in managing and developing operations services (e.g., engineering, project management, commissioning, supply chain, bid & proposal)\tExcellent stakeholder management skills as work involves interacting with many stakeholders within and outside the organizations in partner ecosystem\tDevelop the organization towards an integral part of the Division, in alignment with Marine and Ports Division and Business Line development needs.\tUnderstanding customer business and needs, Marine and Ports industry knowledge is an advantage.\tKnowledge on ABB products and systems like MV, LV, GIS, AIS systems including latest IEC, IEEE & NEC etc.
