What You'll Do

You will manage the building maintenance and functionality of BCG Istanbul office, in particular coordination, check and supervision of all the building aspects in cooperation with your Director. You will also play a crucial role in the Facilities and General Services Team, supervising external suppliers (logistics support and multi-task technicians) and in the management of the Reception.



What You'll Bring

Relevant professional experience (min 10+ years) as Office Manager/Operation Manager in an international corporate environment;Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, in Turkish and English;Proactivity in identifying opportunities for change and improvement, bringing creative solutions to issues;Negotiation skills to identify and manage the best suppliers for Operations activities;Good business judgment, able to see potential second order effects;Solid business partner attitude with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization;Ability to deliver high quality results and to perform effectively under pressure;Excellent people management skills, able to motivate and develop people.

Who You'll Work With

Our business management and operations team members work to ensure that BCG is running smoothly, efficiently, and productively. We are made up of executive and administrative (or case team) assistants, visual service artists, receptionists, facilities staff, and the team leaders and office coordinators who manage these operations and business management jobs.

You're good at:

 

Managing and supervising all activities related to the Istanbul office (elevators, cleaning, security services, electrical, plumbing, heating/air conditioning, furniture, utilities, building improvements, renovations and works in general, etc.);Coordinating the Reception activities;Dealing facilities’ suppliers management for cleaning, security service, electrical, hydraulic, heating/conditioning system, furniture, utilities, building improvements and works in general;Handling relations with Property and Facilities;Being in control of suppliers/building professionals inspections, screening, estimates and in-site events;Supervising building visits upon request (guests, suppliers, BCGers from foreign offices, …);Coordinating internal communications to Istanbul staff related to building issues/info; Managing all budget period and decision, preliminary, final, E1 and E2;Managing special projects related to the above activities;

Overseeing all administrative activities to ensure the smooth operations of the office, including coordination with other corporate functions and consulting teams as needed.
