Operations Marketing Manager
**Hours:** 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday. Potential evening/weekend work may be required. **Location:** Primarily onsite. Hybrid flexibility up to managers discretion. Candidate must be able to travel to various locations in Massachusetts for meetings including Tufts Medical Center, Lowell General Hospital, Melrose Wakefield Hospital, and our Burlington Corporate Headquarters. **Job Profile Summary** This role focuses on the marketing activities of the organization, including promoting and marketing healthcare services to the community and supporting business growth by disseminating information that promotes a favorable view of the organization. In addition, this role focuses on performing the following Marketing Generalists duties: Advances business growth by disseminating information that promotes a favorable view of the organization and its products and services. Develops and implements advertising/promotional campaigns, conducts market research and identifies and predicts current and future consumer trends, product management, including P&L activity and advertising R.O.I. (Return on Investment) analysis, product planning & development, promotional materials creation and distribution. A professional individual contributor role that may direct the work of other lower level professionals or manage processes and programs. The majority of time is spent overseeing the design, implementation or delivery of processes, programs and policies using specialized knowledge and skills typically acquired through advanced education. A specialist level role that is a recognized subject matter expert in job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Typically manages large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager, coaches, reviews and delegates work to lower level professionals, resolving difficult and often complex problems. **Job Overview** This position will serve as a key strategic and operational partner, ensuring the seamless execution of marketing and communication initiatives that align with organizational objectives. Involves overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple departmental projects and initiatives, optimizing resources, mitigating risks, and enhancing team efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, marketing strategy, and cross-functional collaboration, driving alignment across key stakeholders to achieve business goals. This position directly supports the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer in executing strategy and tactics while proactively identifying and eliminating risks. **Job Description** **Minimum Qualifications:** 1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or other related field. 2. Three (3) years of experience in project management. 3. Project management certification (PMP, CAPM, or Project Management Certification equivalent). **Preferred Qualifications:** 1. Seven (7) years of experience in project management, ideally within a healthcare marketing environment. 2. Advanced proficiency in Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies. **Duties and Responsibilities:** The duties and responsibilities listed below are intended to describe the general nature of work and are not intended to be an all-inclusive list. Drives the planning, execution, and delivery of marketing and communication initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment, operational efficiency, and on-time project completion. 2. Oversees and manage complex workflows, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a clear focus on deliverables, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations. 3. Develops and maintain comprehensive project roadmaps, identifying key milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies. 4. Serves as a key liaison between marketing leadership, creative teams, content strategists, and external partners to facilitate streamlined decision-making and execution. 5. Establishes and manages governance frameworks to track project progress, provide strategic insights, and drive accountability across teams. 6. Ensures the efficient allocation of marketing resources, optimizing budgets and personnel to maximize impact. 7. Synthesizes insights from data and performance analytics to inform project optimizations and continuous improvement efforts. 8. Implements best practices in project management, change management, and process improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. 9. Manages sensitive projects, confidential information, and high-priority initiatives with discretion and professionalism. 10. Proactively identifies potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project execution. **Physical Requirements:** 1. Professional office environment with typical office requirements such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc. 2. This is largely a sedentary role, which involves sitting most of the time, but may involve movements such as walking, standing, reaching, ascending/descending stairs, and operating office equipment. 3. Frequently required to speak, hear, communicate, and exchange information. 4. Ability to see and read computer displays, read fine print and distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols. 5. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. **Skills & Abilities:** 1. Strong leadership and project management expertise, with the ability to oversee high-impact, cross-functional initiatives. 2. Exceptional communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills to drive collaboration and consensus across teams. 3. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 4. In-depth understanding of marketing principles and experience aligning project goals with broader brand and business strategies. 5. Highly organized with a meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. 6. Adaptability and agility in managing shifting priorities and dynamic business needs. 7. Strong analytical skills to assess performance metrics and optimize marketing projects accordingly. 8. Experience handling confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and integrity. 9.
