Your Specific Responsibilities:
This position spends the majority of the time engaged in supervisory responsibilities. This includes communicating with, motivating, training, and evaluating employees in addition to planning and directing employees' work. The incumbent has the authority to hire, transfer, suspend, lay off, recall, promote, discharge, assign, reward, or discipline subordinate employees or effectively recommend such action. The incumbent will also be required to develop performance expectations, meet with staff regularly to discuss performance, complete performance reviews, maintain vacation and work schedules, ensuring proper coverage, and complete timesheets. This is a management level position with a broad range of responsibilities in ongoing development and management activities for the coordination of the AIDS Patient Care, AIDS Drug Assistance Program, Ryan White Part B and HIV Prevention Programs. Monitors Pasco County clients enrolled in the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP). Reviews ADAP client online files every re-enrollment annually to ensure files contain the required documentation for determining client eligibility. Work with ADAP staff to resolve client issues. Monitor and continue to develop the Pre-exposure Prophylactic (PrEP) program with the clinic.
Arranges and conducts monthly staff meetings. Ensure monthly one on one meetings with staff are scheduled and attended. Maintain leave calendar. Maintains promotional items inventory and orders needed supplies for staff.
Community Relations and Reporting Responsibilities. Represents the Department of Health in Pasco County and Pasco County HIV/AIDS clients external meetings and committees. Attends required internal meetings. Provides appropriate reports and demographics as required. These demographic reports involve gathering demographics, analyses of data to ensure effectiveness of programs or recommendations of new programs. Provides ongoing education for the community and referral agencies regarding new programs and eligibility requirements. Responsible for the timely reporting to the Ryan White Part B Lead Agency . Completes monthly AIDS General Revenue reports. Develops, monitors and submits the AIDS General Revenue annual spending plan. Develops and monitors the ADAP Administrative and Prevention program budgets.
Provides consultation to staff in the development and implementation of Outreach, HIV and Hepatitis C testing and HIV education to the community. Dispenses HIV/AIDS information as requested. Is certified and able to provide pre- and post-test HIV counseling and testing during Outreach events and in office settings. Investigates issues and implements changes as required. Meet with partnering agencies to troubleshoot and solve any issues. Research available funding opportunities. Grant Writing as needed.
Participates as a team member of the HIV/AIDS staff and performs other duties as required by the supervisor.
Adheres to security and confidentiality policies and procedures of the Department of Health in Pasco County.

Qualifications:
Minimum:
A four-year (Bachelor's) degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent; supervisor/program specific work experience; previous supervisory experience and customer service experience.
Experience working with computer-based software, such as word-processing, database, and spreadsheet applications.
Preferred:
Knowledge of HIV, HIV prevention, linkage, and adherence.
Knowledge of community resources for people living with HIV, including the Ryan White Program
