What is the opportunity?

The selected candidate will be responsible of the fulfillment of transactions within the RESP/RDSP Maintenance team. The functions within the team encompass RESP/RDSP transfers, the Student Partner Program/International Student program along with various regulatory reports. The selected candidate will complete transactions within strict deadlines while providing an exceptional client experience. The candidate will acquire extensive Investment knowledge and will also act as a referral point for other team members for the applicable policy, process and procedure. The business hours are Monday – Friday, from 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.

This role is an Agent of the Future (AOTF) Role - meaning it’s a hybrid role where employees assists Investments teams cross functionally.

What will you do?

Delivers excellent service to our clients every time; focusing on doing what is best for our clients and the organization - making it Simpler, Faster, Better.Focus on attaining established benchmarks for complex and/or specialized client activities, transactions and/or processes, contributing to achievement of business specific Client Service Commitments (CSC’s) and/or Service Level Agreement (SLA)Employee will participate in the Operations Center Incentive program and must meet minimum performance thresholds set by the team/peer groupConsistently demonstrates a sense of urgency in daily activities understanding the importance and impact of personal actions on achieving a superior client experience.Responsible for successful fulfillment and servicing of complex transactions and/or investigations.Ensure process/controls are in place and are being followed.Analyzes non-standard and/or specialized transactions.Provides professional, attentive and accurate service when dealing with both clients and staff.Demonstrates commitment to taking ownership and accountability at first point of contact, ensuring appropriate escalation when required.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

Investment KnowledgeBilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needs.Utilizes knowledge and experience of diverse RBC products, processes and services to process RBC client transactions.Exercises due diligence in following RBC operational risk policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.Takes full accountability for quality and accuracy of day to day job responsibilities, tasks and activitiesEnsure a balanced focus on client experience, efficiency/effectiveness and operational risk/compliance Ability to work in a high-volume department with strict deadlines 

Nice to have:

Knowledge of RESP/RDSP/IA/GIC Products/ ReportsStrong computer skills with the ability to navigate between multiple systems.Have experience working with CART, Application Launch Pad, On demand, Unitrax
