Operations Online Business Analyst

About the role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Operational Analyst to join our dynamic E Trade Operations Team in Madrid. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing business operations by evaluating and re-engineering processes, conducting in-depth data analysis into systems performance, drive in depths reviews of data from our dashboards resulting in system and process improvements, and developing actionable insights to enhance operational efficiency and improve overall business performance.


Responsibilities:

Define and analyse operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering relevant data, and evaluating output requirements and formats. Analyse and investigate system and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement in technology or processes Assist in building and tracking process control steps aimed at preventing data errors Investigate and analyse broker behaviour on client facing platforms. Develop workflow charts and diagrams to visualize and enhance business processes, assessing user needs and system requirements effectively. Conduct comprehensive research on financial, product, market, and operational trends to support strategic planning and decision-making processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide training and ongoing support for end-users, ensuring they can efficiently utilize operational tools and processes. Identify potential risks and opportunities within business operations, communicating findings and recommendations to management for timely action. Respond to operational issues and support ticketing systems, investigating and resolving issues while documenting solutions for future reference. Deliver actionable insights and recommendations for process improvements, creating and measuring the effectiveness of implementation plans. Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, maintaining consistency in operational practices across the organization. Utilize sound testing methodologies and analytical principles to drive operational excellence and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.Advanced level in English(C1)Good level in Spanish and other European languages like French, Dutch, German is a strong plus. Previous insurance experience is a strong plus. Strong abilities in conducting research, data analysis, and complex problem solving.Excellent collaborator and strong interpersonal skills.High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.Experience with data analysis tools and methodologies.Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
