Operations Planner

Note that the job advert will be removed on the indicated "end date" found on top of the advert. **What does the job involve?** We are currently looking for a highly motived Planner to join the Mariner Operations Team. As an Operations Planner, you will have the opportunity to consistently deliver high quality integrated plans and schedules. You'll also provide support and guidance to all business activities relating to the Mariner Field such as Drilling & Well Operations, Production Operations, Field Maintenance, Modifications and Projects. This exciting position will allow you to become instrumental in keeping activity moving safely, efficiently, and effectively across the Mariner Field, and ensure that stakeholders are regularly updated when constraints are identified. **What will my tasks be?** Within this position, your key tasks will be to: + Facilitate planning meeting's and develop and maintain integrated Operations/Asset Plans, both 30 day and 30-90 day windows, working alongside engineers on 2 week schedules, creating baselines in SAP & OPT + Ensure plan entry criteria is managed for all planned tasks to maintain a high level of achievement in the Field Operations Plan + Ensure the planning work process is followed, and provide advice and guidance to stakeholders and accountable personnel to aid in their compliance + Secure alignment and ownership of plans and assist with necessary reports (KPI info / efficiency data) + Responsible for planning of low-medium complexity Turnarounds/Shutdowns + Support in training on planning input and use of tools and participate in continuous improvement initiatives **Here's what we expect from you:** At Equinor, there are some overall qualities we regard as essential. And for this specific position, we are also looking for: + Bachelor's degree preferred in either Engineering/Business or other relevant subject + Previous experience of planning or scheduling for offshore operations, such as Drilling, Operations or Marine + Proficiency and demonstrable experience with planning tools such as SAFRAN, SAP, Primavera P6 and Excel + A considered, methodical planning delivery with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines + A background in Oil and Gas would be advantageous but we are open to hearing from candidates from a range of industries + Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with strong communication skills **What can we offer you?** We want you to have a rewarding and fulfilling work life.
