Operations Project Consultant
Job Description​

As a member of the Project Management Office, the Operations Project Consultant is part of a team of Consultants responsible for guiding the organization in solving complex business issues from strategy through execution.

Skills and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problemsCommunicate effectively in written and verbal formats to various situations and audiencesTranslate strategic initiatives into operationsEnable rapid redesign of business processes to achieve greater efficiencies and adapt business models to industry changesDevelop and implement innovative, data-driven solutions to enhance business processes and performanceLead project teams, emphasizing the ability to build collaborative relationships with team members including but not limited to: the medical staff, nursing and other clinical areas, administration, and operational/support services to drive projects to executionWork autonomously with little directionManage and conduct quantitative and qualitative benchmarking and primary and secondary analyses of large and complex dataOwn and deliver projects - including bringing together the right perspectives, identifying roadblocks, and integrating feedback from all stakeholders and team membersDeliver significant business results that utilize strategic and creative thinking, problem solving, and individual initiativeBuild productive and collaborative relationships with team members and proactively seek guidance, clarification and feedbackUtilize pragmatic approaches to achieve sustainable financial results and operational models

The selected candidate will gain technical skills and critical professional behaviors to expand upon previous experience, knowledge and skills. The selected candidate will additionally work with a wide variety of strategic and operational leaders and learn how to develop, implement, and measure innovative strategies, tackle real-world business issues head-on, and guide Saint Luke’s Health System to its vision of the “the best place to get care, the best place to give care.”
