Operations Project Specialist

As a Project Specialist at Pearson, you will oversee projects of varying complexity to ensure high-quality outcomes. You will manage communications with customers, employees, and vendors while establishing and maintaining project timelines to meet or exceed expectations. Additionally, you will provide guidance to employees and customers on developing optimal solutions and effective project management.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Accurately set up orders and project specifications in iQuote and Monarch, ensuring all necessary supporting instructions are included.
+ Provide outstanding customer service to Pearson customers and employees, driving high satisfaction and account retention.
+ Manage projects from start to finish with extreme accuracy, including organizing proofs, closing tickets, filing completed jobs, and invoicing customers.
+ Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to establish project schedules, resolve discrepancies, and ensure smooth execution.
+ Oversee procurement activities, including obtaining purchase orders, reviewing vendor proposals, and coordinating vendor services.
+ Lead customer communications, including meetings, pricing requests, and billing inquiries, while collaborating with finance and production teams.
+ Participate in continuous improvement efforts, process adherence, and special projects to enhance efficiency and service quality.
**Required Knowledge and Experience:**
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
+ Minimum of three years' experience in a project management or customer service role.
+ Demonstrated ability to handle multiple, parallel projects.
+ Exceptional written and verbal communication/interaction skills.
+ Effective organizational skills with the proven ability to manage and coordinate the efforts of others.
+ Knowledgeable in the technical requirements of scannable forms.
+ Experience with Pearson, software, press and bindery functions to include the type and capability of presses and bindery equipment including mailings and report assembly.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Exceptional computer skills required, to include Microsoft SharePoint suite, and SmartSheets.
