As an Analyst within our Regulatory Reporting team, you will be responsible for preparing various reports required to be submitted to multiple regulators like Reserve Bank of India, Financial Intelligence Unit etc. You will also handle internal, Reserve bank of India Statutory and Concurrent audits, and work closely with other functions of the bank like Trading desk, Compliance, Technology partners etc. This role provides an opportunity to support liquidity management activities and requires a strong background of Regulatory Reporting and sound knowledge of treasury products like Cash Transaction report, Non Profit Organization Report, Cross Border wire transfer report, R-Return, Balance Statement etc.
Job responsibilities:
Prepare regulatory reports, end to end reconciliation and submission to regulator Prepare and dissemination of Internal Management Information Systems to relevant stake holders Prepare “Risk Based supervision” data point and performing variance analysis Monitor of Nostro Reconciliation break daily and circulating MIS on outstanding items with aging Automate regulatory reporting by liaising with technology partners Prepare the regional key performance indicator reports and impact assessment of new business initiatives on regulatory reporting Take responsibility of maintaining & providing the highest quality data to audit, timely & satisfactory resolution of audit queries to ensure that Audit report is issued on time. Coordinate with other Operation, Trade support, Finance, Compliance, Legal teams for control management Establish effective partnerships with internal stakeholders in several areas of the bank in different capacities Follow best practice and procedure to ensure no control breaches Review and update Standard Operating process documentsRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
At least a Bachelor's Degree in Business or related disciplines Good product understanding for Treasury Products like Foreign Exchange (FX) Forward, Swaps, Options, Government Securities, Treasury Bills etc. Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience Good Bank and Non Banking Financial Corporation (NBFC) regulatory knowledge Strong ability to identify problems and propose solutions and good product knowledge Automation mindset to creating efficiency and enhance controls Exhibits initiative to raise issues to appropriate staff when needed Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to accept new assignments and challenges in a rapidly changing environment Good communication and relationship/partnership-building skills both with team members as well as other business partners and clients Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Post graduate degree will be beneficial Good accounting knowledge will be an advantage
