Job Title: Operations Representative

Job Description

As an Operations Representative, you will ensure operational excellence by supporting both internal and external carriers and customers. The focus of this position is to assist with managing carrier information and ensuring the accuracy of load information within our customized software systems. The Operations Representative performs operational work with a sharp focus on data integrity, efficiency, and quality.

ResponsibilitiesConfirm pick-ups and deliveries, request new appointments, request and follow up for paperwork, manage event logs, and track and trace shipments per SOPs.Validate and ensure the accuracy of load data in our systems.Monitor load board, phone, and assigned email accounts to respond to customer and carrier requests.Carry out assigned operational activities and meet prescribed service level agreements.Document milestone events, gather and communicate information for proper problem resolution, resolve routine exceptions utilizing knowledge gained through SOPs and experience, and follow defined escalation procedures when required.Focus on internal and/or external customer needs, recognize service issues, implement customer-focused practices and/or escalate when appropriate.Follow through on customer requests to ensure satisfaction; where applicable invite feedback and seek suggestions for improvement.Build and maintain relationships at the appropriate level and work collaboratively both internally and externally to achieve positive outcomes.Complete activities with accuracy and compliance to company and customer standards.Contribute to the department’s efficiency by identifying and/or implementing operational enhancements.Understand available tools and resources and how to best leverage each to implement efficiencies.Essential SkillsLogisticsSupply chainCustomer serviceCustomer supportAdministrative supportData entryMicrosoft OfficeOutlookMicrosoft ExcelAdditional Skills & QualificationsCustomer Service / Support MindsetAttention to DetailProblem SolverSelf EfficientWork Environment

In office 5 days a week. After training and once you have shown you can work independently, it will be 4 days in office and remote on Friday. Working hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with possible flexibility to 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM if needed.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
