Position Summary
Evernorth Accountable Care (ENAC) is a new business focused on partnering with healthcare providers to form value-based care relationships, improving care for patients and reducing total healthcare costs. As part of standing up the new business, the Evernorth Accountable Care team has a suite of new capabilities and tools that need to be built out with the supporting business processes, procedures, and collaboration points across the enterprise in preparation for major business milestones (launch/expansion of the network, launch of claim pricing capabilities, launch of additional claim types and value based payment models, etc).
The Senior Project Manager, as a member of the Evernorth Accountable Care Operations team, will be responsible for overseeing the overall governance and operational readiness preparedness for major business milestones. This will involve collaborating heavily with key stakeholders within ENAC Operations and liaising across operational partners at the payer to ensure all readiness activities are tracked, reported in regular status meetings to leadership audiences, and raising risks/collaborating with stakeholders to identify mitigation plans.
Essential Functions
Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan that ensures successful completion of readiness activities in preparation for milestone launches, coordinating across Provider Contracting, ENAC Operations, payer's operations teams, Technology, Accounting/Finance, Legal/Compliance, and more, as identified.
Create a governance model for operational readiness that supports the creation of workgroups made up of key team members necessary to drive work forward.
Facilitate connecting of dots across teams, managing dependencies and escalating risks/issues as necessary
Develop a working knowledge of the technology capabilities that will be leveraged as part of the business processes that are designed, and an understanding of the operational readiness activities needed to support the technology capabilities.
Lead the compilation of status reporting for the launch and provide readouts to Evernorth Accountable Care leadership and impacted stakeholder groups.
Provide hands on support to the design and build of operational processes, as needed, to ensure successful launches.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in related field strongly preferred
Experience within healthcare strongly preferred
3+ years of strategic program or project management experience required
Experience launching new initiatives within a highly matrixed organization required
Experience or exposure to agile methodology and working with agile teams strongly preferred
Ability to move seamlessly between activities requiring creating, designing, and owning vs. facilitating and driving
Strong critical thinking skills and ability to navigate through ambiguity with limited oversight
Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
Ability to sustain momentum under challenging circumstances, working with all stakeholders and delivery teams
Strong executive presence and ability to interface directly with external leaders with limited oversight
Both technically deep and business savvy enough to interface with cross-functional partners
Demonstrates ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast paced, high volume, rapidly changing environment
Proven ability to develop strong working relationships and establish a high level of credibility across functional and lines of business
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 92,800 - 154,600 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
