Are you looking to gain invaluable leadership experience and exposure to multiple areas within a business? Trimble offers a unique opportunity for a motivated recent graduate to join the Trimble team as a part of our Rotational Development Program. In this position you will have the opportunity to use your recently gained knowledge to rotate through 4 different positions within four different divisions, providing you vast opportunities and great company exposure. At the end of this 24 month program, we will facilitate your post-program process by supporting you through finding the best position that suits your skills and business needs. This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits.
Rotations will generally include time spent in four of the following areas:
Buying/Planning:
Purchases materials, supplies and services at the most favorable terms for the organization Qualifies vendors, ensures compliance and regulatory needs, evaluates bids, and negotiates prices and terms for purchased goods and servicesMonitors and tracks orders, monitors vendor quality, and maintains a current database of vendor informationPlans and forecasts for future buys based on historical buys, recurring buys and current inventory levels Responsible for reviewing stock to sales ratios, responding to changing sales trends, and ensuring plan sales, plan markups, and plan markdowns are achieved by various teamsPlans and coordinates product flow-through, inputs and maintains data in multiple tracking systemsData Management
Performs technical administration duties for data warehouse development and maintenanceProvides technical support and coordination during warehouse design, testing and movement to productionActs as a liaison between engineers, data architects, programmers, and analystsImplements and enforces standards and procedures to ensure data is managed consistently and properly integrated within the warehouseImplements business rules via stored procedures, middleware, or other technologiesSupply Chain Management
Gathers data and conducts analysis with the goal of improving the organization'sSupply chain operationsIdentifies under-performing areas in the supply chain and suggests improvements or resolutions to problemContributes to the strategic sourcing and management of a global marketplaceNew Product Introduction (NPI)Performs NPI forecasts (both box and board); manages and owns all aspects of the integrity of the NPI demand lineMaintains NPI work orders, including opening, closing, and resolving variancesResponsible for the correct transactional/physical movement of engineering purchased materialAssists in the creation, submission and transition of production releasesDistribution and Logistics Management
Implements best practices of supply chain management to improve the movement of material through the fulfillment centerAnalyzes data sets from Oracle WMS and Cognos to drive efficiencies within the materials, shipping, and packout departmentsPartners with business areas within the operations division to ensure that we are effective custodians of their inventoryProduct Engineering (Engineering graduates only)
Coordinates transition of new products and product enhancements from concept through the manufacturing process to a finished productAnalyzes field related problems, addresses product issues and actively communicates information back to the R&D teams to mitigate repeat mistakes during new product developmentSupports existing product lines during daily operations and has responsibility for reducing costs and improving efficiencyYour Characteristics/Skills

Education/Experience Required
BS, or MS in Operations, Supply Chain Management, MIS, and/or Engineering with a focus on Operations Management/Supply Chain
A minimum of one related prior internship or up to three years of relevant professional experience is required.
Must be legally authorized to start in Dayton, Ohio in July 2025
Preferred Experience
Recent leadership experience/involvement in university or elsewhere
