Position Purpose:

The Operations Specialist supports valves and actuators production from a technical standpoint and has a solid understanding of the product being produced. This role serves as the first line of defense and consultant to shop-floor workers regarding production-related issues, solving difficult manufacturing problems and implementing process and product improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Use Lean tools and drive process improvements for new and existing products.Resolve manufacturing floor issues and assist in Root Cause Analysis.Write and revise work instructions and other manufacturing documentation.Train production team members.Evaluate new tooling and recommend new standards.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Solid written and verbal communication skills in English.Strong understanding of Lean principles.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Proficient in computer skills (e.g. Excel, Word, SAP/WISE, CAD, etc..).Ability to manufacture complex parts or assemblies and interpret schematics or drawings.At least 2 years’ experience in supporting production in industrial environmentTechnical high school diploma or equivalentTwo shifts work
