Job Summary

The Operations Specialist is responsible for managing routine tasks and developing key job skills related to both Government and Honeywell operations. This role involves actively implementing asset management policies and procedures to ensure the maintenance of approved business systems that meet government, customer, contractual, and Aerospace requirements. The specialist will be expected to follow specific contract objectives, deliverables, outcome metrics, and monthly KPI performance, which include handling receipts, issues, transfers, physical inventory, identification, records, and close-outs. Additionally, you will receive property based on receiving documents, issue assets/materials as requested, document traceability characteristics, support property audits, and collaborate with management on special projects. Roles and Responsibilities

Perform routine tasks and develop key job skills related to Government and Honeywell Special Test Equipment (STE), Special Tooling, and Equipment Asset Management.Support DCMA audits, internal network audits, customer audits, and the scheduling and tracking of physical inventories. Assist with property objectives, work plans, and delivery schedules.Help ensure the execution of corrective action and CAMP plans, property loss reports, excess screening, and PIEE entries.Maintain records of government and engineering property, gather data, create metrics, process both cost and no-cost transfers, plan and coordinate physical inventories, and support internal and external customers with audits and information requests.Assist in tracking and compiling metric data and Property Management Self-Assessment data related to asset management.Support cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with Asset/Material Management Practices, Policies, and Standards.Collaborate with site stakeholders to implement asset process changes impacting cross-functional groups, coordinate daily logistics operations, manage inventory control, and ensure accurate inventory and timely delivery of goods.Organize and expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies.

Basic Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship is required.Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of relevant experience, or a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 5 years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in FAR 52.245-1 Government Property standards.Strong knowledge of FAR 52.245-1 Government Property standards.Proven experience in team or property management.Current Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS) certification from the National Property Management Association, or the ability to obtain within one year.Experience working with SAP.Familiarity with Bill of Material (BOM) configuration.Strong record-keeping skills and the ability to coordinate projects effectively.Experience or knowledge in submitting PIEE cases.Basic understanding of government contracts.
