Operations Specialist (Entry Level)
Qualifications: + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook. + Entry-level preferred with 5 years of office experience or a Bachelor's degree with 6+ months of retail/office experience. + Ability to answer interview questions using the STAR method. + Desire to learn and grow within the logistics industry. Work Environment The position operates within a quiet, professional cubicle environment, offering a dedicated desk/workspace. The dress code is business professional. Working hours are from 8 am to 5 pm, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break (minimum 30 minutes). The work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday. Job Description You will be responsible for customer support and data entry within the logistics and freight forwarding sector. This operational role requires you to input information into Excel, follow up with customers, and ensure billing and emails are current. You will arrange pickups, coordinate trucking transportation, manage ocean carriers, and maintain constant communication with customers and overseas offices to update shipment information.
