Fabrication Operations Supervisor Our Operations Supervisors are responsible for directing and coordinating operational activities of our Team Members by processing materials, assembly and/or paint of products. This position will have direct reports. Review production orders and schedules to ascertain product data such as type, quantity and specification of a product and scheduled delivery date. Plan assembly operations, establishing priorities and sequences for painting products. Prepare production schedules and coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of product meet specifications. Responsible for plant assembly area by maintaining adequate staffing in the areas to assemble product and ship all products in an orderly and timely manner. Supervise and monitor on the job training of production Team Members. Responsible for monitoring parts and supplies in all areas and to keep purchasing aware of purchased part requirements. Maintain production records and files. Upkeep and maintenance of equipment assigned and personal equipment issued to the department. (tools, gloves, aprons, etc.) Perform all other duties as assigned. Requirements: Work Experience: Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment Education: High School Diploma/GED Computer Skills: Basic computer skills necessary Physical, Mental and Visual Skills: Ability to stand, walk, sit, lift up to 75 pounds, push and pull up to 75 pounds, reach above shoulders, bend, stoop, climb ladder, and operate forklift for long periods of time up to 8 hours per day Physical Environment: Fast-paced manufacturing environment, ability to tolerate a variable climate; occasionally lifting 30-75 pounds Preferred Requirements: Education: 2-year degree in manufacturing-related field Why We are Different: At LIPPERT, Everyone Matters.
