GXO is currently seeking a driven and talented individual for the role of Operations Supervisor to join our Nestle contract, based at our flagship site based at East Midlands Gateway. You’ll support the Operations Manager with the safe and efficient running of the day-to-day operations. Ensuring daily KPIs are met, all Health & Safety procedures are adhered to, and customer services levels are attained.

 

This is a full time, permanent position. You’ll be working on a ‘4 on 4 off’ basis with rotational shift patterns of 06:00 till 18:00 and 18:00 – 06:00.

You’ll be paid a salary of up to £35,707.56 per annum, depending upon experience. Manage the team to ensure that operational process and standard operating procedures are followed consistently and that performance targets are achieved or exceeded Promote the agreed vision and culture within the site by living the site values and vision Manage and develop direct reports and the team around you to ensure a smooth daily flow of volumes Directly manage the digital partners in the daily operation

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

Strong previous experience of working within a warehouse/transport environment Previous experience in work delegation, setting tasks, and working toward KPIs Strong organisation and excellent communication abilities High ability to resolve problems quickly with an analytical approach
