Job Summary
Utilizes process improvement methodologies and other analytics to improve processes and procedures within the distribution center facility. Pursues improved operational effectiveness through the refinement of existing procedures or business processes. Provides analysis and
interpretation of report data generated from SAP and/or other key systems. Acts as a key resource for the selection of new equipment and the development of automation within the center.
Core Responsibilities
Analyzes business problems and procedures to identify and assess possible alternative solutions.
Works with leadership to develop project plans; assists with the execution of the plan; and monitors progress according to the plan.
Assists in assessing training needs, designing appropriate training programs, and delivering training.
Develops runs and interprets reports from SAP on a periodic basis to monitor utilization and cost reduction opportunities. Provides root cause analysis for leadership to use in coaching teammates on impacts.
Supports the training of supervisors and managers on utilization of existing reports and tools within SAP.
Clearly documents processes, procedures, and end-user responsibilities for a variety of facility operations.
Leverages various software programs such as Word, Excel, SAP and other necessary programs or project tools to manage and analyze data and complete work.
Qualifying Experience
Associate Degree or some college, required. Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
Minimum, four (4) years of experience in operations and/or in the medical device/logistics/warehouse industry or related field, required.
