Operations Supervisor
MAU is hiring an Operations Supervisor in Dothan, AL. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that site-wide operations consistently meet established service levels while actively driving continuous improvement in safety, logistics, operational efficiency, and internal support processes. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Ensure MAU complies with site-specific policies and regulations. Hold regular meetings with customers to provide support, discuss process improvements, and track action registry completion. Provide support for safety case management. Support the existing MAU Staffing Leadership group Coordinate training and development plans for the leadership team Oversee a team of four Operations Supervisors Conduct and train team members on the 4-Step Problem Solving process Lead Safety Gemba walks with team members and the General Manager Identify and address hazards in the workplace Ensure consistent administration of MAU policies to minimize legal exposure. Provide coaching and administer disciplinary actions when necessary. Facilitate conflict resolution and intervention. Serve as the liaison between customer leadership and MAU leadership. Allocate resources for both short- and long-term special projects. Evaluate project performance to recommend process improvements. Attend specific departmental meetings as needed. Be on call 24/7 to address emergencies, including personnel injuries and property damage. Essential Functions Act as the primary point of contact for the customer’s Business Unit Leaders. Maintain up-to-date site metrics and production trackers. Ensure the quality and compliance of EOS reports submitted by Operations Supervisors. Lead and actively promote a culture of continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with site-specific policies and regulations for the MAU. Attend TAG Meetings and keep associates informed about performance metrics. Monitor that all Operations Supervisors meet performance expectations and adhere to Leaders Standard Work. Ensure department-specific metrics are on target, including: Service T: Tire loading, loading to target time and quantity, and managing cutbacks. Service O: Downtime, post-production processes (Pall, Rewind, Stripping), and D Complex Production. Cultivate a safety culture dedicated to achieving “Zero Incidents.” Complete LSW requirements, including BBS Observations, planned inspections, and BIB standards. Collaborate with the MAU Safety Team to: Improve safety processes and training documents. Drive enhancements in training materials, standard work, and other documents to standardize processes and ensure employee safety Participate in the Annual Health and Safety Action Plan. Facilitate the Safety Action Improvement Process. Promote a proactive safety approach by identifying hazards, rectifying unsafe conditions, and enhancing the safety culture within your division and team. Work Environment or Working Conditions Our customers' facilities offer diverse working conditions across both administrative and manufacturing environments. Work settings typically include manufacturing or warehouse areas with process equipment and heavy industrial vehicles. Conditions may range from non-air-conditioned spaces (hot or cold) to non-climate-controlled areas. Physical Demands Ability to stand for extended periods and walk up to 5 miles per day.  Ability to sit at desk for several hours. Ability to lift 5- 20lbs periodically and 50lbs on occasion Travel
