Supervises and coordinates daily activities of distribution center or warehouse. Responsible for movement and tracking of finished product and/or raw materials. Directs and improves the operation of material flow. Monitors activities to ensure compliance with safety and security policies.Coordinates inbound and outbound logistical operations, including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products | Controls the commercial impact of the complete range of activities from receiving, locating and dispatching, sourcing, purchasing and optimizing inventory levels.
Responsibilities:
Supervises the organization's logistics operations to control, deliver, and distribute products and materials to the destination.
Supports the overall strategy, metrics, and processes to deploy an optimized logistic network and operations.
Oversees daily operations for inventory, documentation and procedure control .
Monitors teams and adherence to service level targets. Using advanced reporting methods, excel, presentation skills etc.
Troubleshoots and resolves issues.
Ensures compliance with all regulations.
Utilizes and manages data to a presentable state .
Provide and collate data supporting decision process.
Understand the location-specific customer goals & objectives and work to meet and exceed these expectations daily – Customer focused with CRM knowledge.
Requirements:
Demonstrated leadership qualities with strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to connect, build rapport and maintain solid relationships with associates, Company leadership, internal and external customers.
Must have ability to work efficiently and independently with strong time management and organizational skills
Strong written/oral communication skills and the ability to actively listen are required, interpersonal communication skills essential.
Ability to manage through a problem, think critically, and make decisions independently.
Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
SCM Experience with Lean Principles highly valued.
Expert computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
English min B2 -C1.
Must demonstrate ownership & responsibility to run the operation with a sense of urgency.
Degree in a relevant field valued.
