Position Summary The Operations Supervisor is responsible for directing, supervising, and coordinating production operations for the entire plant or portion of the plant in a team-based environment. You will be responsible for the effective administration of policies and procedures and utilization of all resources to optimize operational efficiency, material utilization, and labor flexibility. This is a Union Facility and you will be required to supervise Union colleagues. Responsibilities Supervise the operations of an entire Plant, Value Stream, or assigned area and provides direction to ensure that current commitments are achieved while improvements are being made (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, etc.) Support the facility management in achieving high colleague morale Provide direct leadership and consistently administers Energizer policies and work rules to ensure conformity Maintain working knowledge of schedules, costs, quality, safety, material utilization, and productivity and provides direction and guidance to achieve deliverables Develop and coordinates production/maintenance schedule Optimize flexibility of processes and equipment Analyze costs, material utilization, and inventory levels to resolve variances Develop necessary controls to monitor these areas Promote safety, health and environmental initiatives as well as 5S and Housekeeping within assigned area Determine training needs and administers colleague training for assigned area Promote high level performance of hourly employees including performance appraisals Demonstrate a proactive and creative approach to problem solving and continuous improvement Promote problem solving to address variances Lead and/or facilitate improvement efforts/special projects related to safety, quality, cost, etc. Promote and champion team initiatives, colleague ownership and empowerment What we are looking for Associates degree in Operations Management, Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, or similar or equivalent years of experience in manufacturing 3-5 years experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing plant environment Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, organizational and motivational abilities Experience working within a Union environment Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts (4-3-3-4 schedule) What we prefer Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, or similar Knowledge and/or experience in applying lean principles Practical technical understanding and good facilitation skills Come join us! Total Rewards Package The salary range for this position is USD $74,000.00/Yr. - USD $80,000.00/Yr. Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
