MAU is hiring an Operations Supervisor in Lexington, SC. The Operations Supervisor oversees shift leadership and team members to ensure safety, machine efficiency, quality, delivery, cost, and workforce objectives set by the customer and MAU. This role involves managing daily manufacturing and material movement tasks across various departments within the Mill. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Career Path Operations Manager Platform Manager Site Manager General Manager Other Corporate Support Functions Required Education and Experience Associate’s degree OR High school diploma with 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or logistics Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree HR Certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) Lean Green Belt certification Training in root cause analysis Essential Functions Lead pre-shift meetings and daily performance discussions Assign work based on staffing and attendance Ensure smooth shift turnover and process compliance through Gemba walks Monitor production via Hour-by-Hour reporting and address below-target issues Document corrective actions and respond to customer requests Maintain communication boards (SQDC) and uphold 5S standards Enforce dress code and company policies Manage associates and support Leader Standard Work Resolve conflicts proactively and manage crises Provide training for team improvement and oversee process enhancements Participate in safety investigations and enforce compliance Foster a positive safety culture and reduce property damage risks Manage payroll, attendance, and headcount within budget Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards Engage in continuous improvement and problem-solving activities
