Job Description

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision and handling of all warehousing and distribution functions of the El Paso GS Facility reporting directly to the Distribution Manager, you will be accountable for all inbound receiving, order picking and kitting, and shipping for the one shift operation.  

Support Warehouse Associates to meet customer, individual, and corporate performance expectations. Ensure proper procedures are followed in all warehouse activities.   Assist in the development and revision of procedures to meet changing customer and corporate expectations.  Work with Distribution Manager, Group Leaders to ensure associates have the resources in place to deliver against required service levels efficiently and effectively.  Drive innovation and critical thinking to strategic and tactical work.  Explore, and participate in, performance improvement and cost optimization opportunities.  Ensure all Health and Safety regulatory, training and compliance related activities are completed and followed.  Develop direct reports through day to day coaching, training and work assignments.   Create a team capable of performing cross-functional activities.  

Meet team targets by managing resources and "going to the Gemba"

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: 

5+ years warehousing, distribution center and/or logistics experience in a leadership capacity.Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.Demonstrated experience in developing and coaching team members.Ability to maintain composure responding to information and situations in a self-controlled manner during stressful periods.Demonstrated ability to assess and improve distribution center and logistics processes.Customer first attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as exceptional interpersonal skills.Experience supervising a diverse workforce in a distribution environment considered an asset.Computer literate with proficiency with MS Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.Proficiency in the use of SAP, Blue Yonder WMS, RF Warehouse Management

Additional Information

Indefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.  Future sponsorship for work authorization unavailable. 

Salary Range: The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $73,000 - $110,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
