This full-time position offers flexible hours throughout the week, as our operation is 24 hours a day. This is an opportunity to have a vital role in our operation. Duties include but are not limited to overseeing dispatch functions for multiple business units and multiple vehicle types, acting as a liaison between sales, customers, and drivers, and working with drivers to confirm routing and times. Additionally, this role is responsible for processing changes/updates to trips, complying with Federal and State DOT requirements, organizing paperwork and filing, and utilizing dispatch systems for operational purposes.

Position Summary:
The Operations Supervisor will assist the General Manager and other team members with administrative and operational activities for the Commercial Services division; this will include assisting with the dispatch staff, overseeing the vehicle fleet, ensuring the business remains in compliance with federal, state, and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements regarding safety, and working closely with the sales team to understand and deliver on customer expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Dispatch CoordinationWork with dispatch team to review and support the assignment of trips to drivers.Work with dispatch to ensure sure that trips are covered every day.Develop a clear process on scheduling multiday trips that require transfers.Ensure that the drivers check in on time. Coordinate and attend various customer meetings as needed.Develop relationships with area customer representatives.Communicate regularly with drivers to confirm routing allow for on-time pickups.Occasionally generate program reports (using Microsoft Office technology or Internal Transportation applications).Process changes / update to trips, comply with Federal and State DOT requirements, organize paperwork and filling, maintain records and logs.Answer and field phone calls Processing quotes.Answer general incoming questions from drivers and customers.Working Relationships
Reports directly to the General Manager. This position does not have any direct management responsibility; however, will have indirect responsibility for Commercial services dispatch team. This position is required to work closely with Motorcoach dispatch. This position will have frequent interaction with customers.
Physical Demands
Work is frequently performed in an office environment with occasional exposure to outdoor environments including temperature variations, precipitation, and wind. Position may require occasional exposure to odors such as exhaust. Position requires frequent verbal communication either in person or by telephone.
Mental Demands
Work entails above average mental demands. Duties involve handling multiple and changing priorities. Must be able to maintain calm composure during stressful and fast-paced situations. Some duties are highly stressful such as dealing with customer complaints and employee concerns. Some duties require close attention to detail, such as reading customer contracts. Must be able to remain professional in a high-profile environment.

This position will have the normal hours of;
9:00 am – 6:00 pm Tuesday-Friday
6:00 am – 3:00 pm Saturday
Sunday and Monday off
