Responsible for the coordination of Directional Drilling services, technical support, and furthering Business opportunities within the client base
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinates with all service lines to maximize P&L. Responsible to direct team of Directional Drillers. Coordinates personnel and equipment for maximum utilization Interfaces with district Reliability Coordinator as needed to ensure data accuracy. Responsible to supervise and assess field engineers’ job performance. Mentors, facilitates training (as per employee level) and provides competency development of field personnel. Works with the Service Quality Coordinator(s) to provide accurate and consistent service to the client. Evaluates job reports on daily basis. Reviews and evaluates field engineers’ career development and progress. Responsible for interfacing with Global Support Team as needed. Interfaces with district R&M to prioritize maintenance schedules to ensure maximum utilization of available equipment. Prepares monthly report on current job activity, special projects, tool performance summary (as required). Reports equipment failures immediately as per the Field Incident Reporting Procedure Performs various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job. Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
Job Requirements:
Required:
Minimum 3 years drilling experience in oilfield activities. Thorough technical knowledge of Drilling Systems products and services, Excellent communication, organization, troubleshooting and teamwork skills. Positive attitude and a high degree of self-discipline and motivation Capable of multitasking and working effectively under pressure. Excellent Microsoft Office skills Understanding of Computer application within the proposed job environment Ability to generate clear and concise reports in a timely and professional manner.
Preferred:
2 years field experience as Directional Driller IV. 2 year technical degree or relevant industry experience. 3 years experience with Weatherford Drilling Software Must be able to interact in a professional manner with senior management and customers. Previous management experience is an asset.
