Position Responsabilities:
Responsible for managing all front of house operations of the security office, including lost or replacement badges, new badges, and access rights and restrictions. Oversees the accurate input of pertinent personal employee information into the access control system as outlined per departmental policy. Manages all parking privileges and accesses; assists in resolving issues. Manages the day-to-day operations of security systems and executive level reporting, including access control, cameras, patrol technology, GPS technology, and parking technology. Leads the front office security team. Administers, hiring, terminations, and disciplinary actions. Presents properly screened requests to Director for approval. Manages staff annual evaluations and competency reviews and take appropriate personnel actions as required by Human Resources. Interpret and implement Medical Center personnel and department policies and procedures. Compiles and generates access control reports per departmental guidelines or as requested by administrative and/or investigative personnel. Responsible for annual training requirements. Prepare and update, as appropriate, training materials for access data entry, and I.D. card preparation and generation. Assures accurate time and attendance (Kronos) encoding as outlined per department policy. Acts as liaison between departments and security concerning access. Manage valet services contract and parking booth attendants. Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Security and AVP of Operations.QualificationsÂ
