The Operations Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to saltwater disposal facility operations, maintenance, and compliance. This role will ensure operational excellence by troubleshooting issues across DKL’s facilities, optimize the operation of existing equipment to improve reliability, and provide input to the development of projects for brownfield facility upgrades associated with the Company’s produced water gathering, processing facilities, and salt water disposal wells.
All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, and vision of the organization. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required) No Licensure or Certification Required.Experience in equipment reliability initiatives and project management, with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team
Experience in overseeing installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting midstream systems
Working knowledge of PHMSA regulations, DOT 195, TX Railroad Commission, BLM, ASME B31.3/31.4/31.8 design codes, and API Recommended Practices
Must be willing to travel to company locations and facilities for meetings, training, projects, planning, and information gathering
Experience with AVEVA PI and MS PowerBI a plus
Well/Facility engineering experience in oil production
Experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus
