About the Position: You will serve as an Operations Officer. Performs expert management advisory duties for planning, analysis and implementation of programs. Responsibilities Serves as an Operations Officer providing management advisory duties for planning, analysis and implementation of programs. Assures integrated and coordinated short term, mid-term, and long-range planning on projects and tasks. Prepares reports and presentations outlining the current status that cross organizational and functional lines. Develops plans and objectives for assigned management programs and procedures for gathering, correlating, managing data and advises management on any policy/procedure changes. Specialized Experience: In order to qualify for this position your resume must describe one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11 or equivalent) grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of management project operations to meet established goals and objectives; 2) Reviewing policy or procedural guidance to support a program mission; AND 3) Participating as a member of a team to meet organizational operational objectives that include elements of facilities management, program integration, or execution of day to day operations in a government program office environment. The definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-02 or GS-11 equivalent. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct Deposit of Pay is required.
