Job Overview

The Operations Support Specialist plays a vital role in enhancing operational efficiencies, developing training programs, and maintaining compliance with quality standards. This role supports the internal audit process, facilitates continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures optimal warehouse processes to meet organizational goals.

Key Job Responsibilities

Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for warehouse processes, aligning with organizational objectives.

Create and conduct regular training programs for end-users, including written and video materials, to ensure effective process implementation.

Analyze training feedback and process metrics to continuously improve workflows and identify learning needs.

Identify opportunities to optimize cost and service, focusing on removing waste and improving workflow efficiency.

Partner with leadership and process owners to prioritize and execute projects aimed at driving improvement and sustaining process compliance.

Investigate, recommend, and implement technological solutions to enhance safety, production capabilities, and standard operating procedures.

Support the internal audit process, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001/AS 9100 standards and NADCAP requirements.

Qualifications/Requirements

 Undergraduate degree in Business Admin, Project Management, or other related field of study, or equivalent experience. 

Experience working in the warehouse or distribution industry. 

Communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, must be present.  Must be an active listener who can translate requirements quickly.  

Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, host meetings, events, and presentations. 

Ability to work independently on initiatives, and ability to lead change.

Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Familiarity with process improvement methodologies and initiatives.

Strong writing and editing skills, with excellent attention to detail.

Proficient in ERP systems, MS Office Suite, Visio, SharePoint, Statistical and Data Software, Miro, Excel, VKS.

Ability to travel up to 10% to various Komatsu and off-site locations.
