Job DescriptionServes as a software specialist with a focus on communicating and managing the needs of IT projects before any software modifications are released into the production environment of EFCT laboratory software. Responsibility of the role is to aid in the development of the Labware LIMS application while coordinating IT project needs with any associated stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform administration and/or support for scientific or business software applications (e.g. Labware LIMS, SampleKinect, Chromeleon, EOL, Jira, etc.)Communicate Business Technology project requirements, expectations and outcomes to team members and stakeholders.Monitor progress and status of IT projects and, if necessary, develop actions to bring assigned tasks back on schedule for upcoming IT releases.Troubleshoots Labware LIMS interfacing issues in relation to any connected instrument software.Develop, modify or maintain laboratory analyses within the Labware LIMS system.Performs simple to advanced programming including the testing, creation or modification of computer programs based on user and/or system design specifications.Manages and maintains IT project timelines.Prioritizes analysis configuration changes with Labware LIMS application as required by groups within EFCT.Maintains ISO accreditation status within Labware LIMS system.Maintains method references and other associated method details within Labware LIMS platform.Acts as a Labware LIMS subject matter expert and any associated instrument software.Responds to QA, client, and regulatory questions or requests.Completes specific programming or application improvements projects as directed. Review and update any associated documentation related to projects.Manages alpha and validation test activities related to laboratory analyses and instrument interfaces with Labware LIMS.Collects, sorts, and assembles data/information from established and non-established sources.Works with Eurofins Information Technology staff to implement new computer, upgrade and troubleshoot computer systems used within EFCT.Performs other related duties as assigned.QualificationsCompletes specific programming or application improvements projects as directed. Education / Experience
