The Team Lead is responsible for ensuring daily production targets are met through effective leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving. Acting as a front-line manager, the Team Lead will provide direct instruction and guidance to system operators while partnering with the Operations Manager and other internal partners to ensure successful operations of our distribution center. Team Leads are the first point of escalation for a broad range of employee and system issues and must be able to multitask in the face of pressure and deadlines.
The position requires an individual who is production and quality focused and who is capable of working in a high volume and demanding continuous production environment. The individual must be a self-starter, able to be cross-trained on multiple pieces of equipment, a team player, organized, and results oriented with exceptional work habits. Ability to stand for long periods, up to entire shift. Ability to bend and move about the production floor, to reach various parts of the production equipment, as needed. Ability to lift 25-50 pounds. Ability to monitor and respond to production runs visually, in addition to the use of a computerized production program, where applicable. Position requires compliance with all department and company policies and safety regulations. This position will work under the direct supervision of the team manager. Must be flexible with schedule to cover overtime and absences.
Responsibilities:
Resolves day-to-day problems and executes deliverables within the business unit Provides functional expertise knowledge to projects or initiatives relating to the business unit Manages team workload and provides general oversight and direction to team Maintains internal, operational, and financial controls and works within risk appetite of the business unit Reviews processes to ensure they are efficient and implements process improvement opportunities Participates in and support continuous improvement events Identify, troubleshoot and resolve bottlenecks, supply chain problems and training deficiencies. Using proven problem-solving processes Monitor key metrics to assess safety, quality, delivery, cost and engagement

Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or moved up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 40 pounds.
