Operations Team Leader
Job Description

To supervise and coordinate daily activities amongst a team in order to achieve a smooth workflow and business targetsEnsure accuracy in processing of entries to customer's accounts to avoid miss posts that would cost the bankEnsure wrongly encoded amounts on outward cheques are avoided to reduce on customer angstEnsure that transactions processed are checked and verified for correctness, GPT forms are correctly checked before postings, signed and verified, and funds reserved on customer's accountEnsure customers needs and expectations are resolved through liaising with branchesDeal with customer complaints, relating to processing activities and ensure that they are resolved to their satisfaction in the shortest possible timeEnsure that branches are assisted with query resolution in respect to all queries pertaining to cheques, teller suspense accounts and EFTsEnsure that the Query Register is checked, and all queries resolved Ensure that the Incidence help desks checked and all queries resolveBuild working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovationDeliver customer experience excellence in own service delivery aligned to Organisational values and service standardsControl expenditure and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costsDevelop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across area of specialisationDisplay and encourage an appreciation of teamwork and inclusivityParticipate in planned activities that are appropriate for own and employee developmentCompile reports that track progress and guide business to make informed decisionsDeliver Support Service and post-delivery admin through general administration and maintenance and control of registersManage the procurement activities required for the businessPlan and develop learning schedule for both normal programmes and projects and submit learning schedule for review and approvalEnsure development and continuous value add improvement to operational processesManages risks in own area of responsibilityJob Details
