Operations Team Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Team Leader to join our world-class manufacturing team at nVent Management Company. As an Operations Team Leader for the painting line, you are responsible for overseeing the operations of the production line, ensuring that activities are conducted in accordance with internal standards, and maintaining efficient production processes as well as delivering performance in accordance with the operations indicators set. This role requires a proactive approach to work distribution, quality control, and team management to achieve optimal productivity and compliance with safety regulations. **Responsibilities:** ·Plan and Organize: Develop and implement schedules for line operators, ensuring activities align with internal standards. ·Work Distribution: Allocate work and operations evenly across production lines to meet production goals. ·Job Rotation: Facilitate job rotation according to operational needs to enhance skill diversity and reduce monotony. ·Discipline Maintenance: Enforce discipline on production lines, including adherence to work schedules and break times. ·Raw Material assurance: Guarantee, check and communicate the availability of raw materials ·Quality Assurance: oversee quality control measures and ensure product traceability. ·Safety Compliance: Ensure all team members adhere to work and safety equipment regulations. ·Time and Attendance: Accurately complete and update daily time records in accordance with company standards. ·Performance Evaluation: Continuously assess operator performance and conduct standard periodic evaluations. ·Training: Provide training for new and existing operators on applicable standards and new projects/processes. ·Resource Management: Optimize control methods over procedural and human resources, adjusting control frequency and methods as needed ·Problem Resolution: Escalate issues only after thorough initial analysis and consultation with all relevant parties, offering constructive solutions. ·Team Readiness: Ensure team preparedness and operational functionality in absence of the supervisor, including training, readiness, decision-making principles, and task delegation. **Requirements:** - Highschool/ technical or a related field, or equivalent initial studies as a minimum. - 2+ years experience in a manufacturing leadership role - Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality management systems - Excellent communication and leadership skills - Ability to successfully implement change and drive continuous improvement initiatives **WE HAVE:** + A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day + nVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
