The Role
As a key point of contact for the London-based broking teams, you will provide vital support, helping them deliver outstanding service to their clients. You will also play an instrumental role in supporting the functional management team by encouraging the technical development of your colleagues.
Working closely with your manager and team members, you will handle the administration and support processes associated with clients' insurance requirements. Your responsibilities will align with Group policy, focusing on achieving targets, driving business development, and maintaining a high standard of service.
Additionally, you will supply to system testing, deliver training, supervise data integrity, and participate in various projects. As a technical referral point, you will handle sophisticated debiting and related issues. In this role, you will coordinate all documentation related to London Market Premium and Policy processing, working collaboratively with others to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Fully remote role and can be based anywhere in the UK.
What you'll be doing
Ensuring that client invoicing is made on time
Ensuring that changes to policies especially relating to invoicing are supervised and monitored
Assists in the creation of comprehensive broking, client and other types of documents
Process slips, quotes and indications
Performs technical duties (including data entry, credit control, chasing subjectivities)
Keeps informed of all regulatory and legal changes which impacts on the job role
Ensures up to date records are maintained at all times on the Company systems
Responds appropriately to urgent issues as they arise
Who we're looking for:
Experience in the Platform Acturis is crucial
Knowledge of LPAN Production, Xchanging / DXC technology is desirable
Solid grasp of FCA regulations as they pertain to insurance intermediaries
Solid grasp of processes and procedures within the insurance market. Able to audit and check the work of others
Attention to detail with ability to produce accurate documentation
