Reporting to the Superintendent, Information Technology, you will be part of the Information Technology Department. You will coordinate the design, operations, and maintenance of OT at the mine site, and be involved in the regional IT/OT needs. You may be called upon to support additional mine sites as needed. You will be focused on the service delivery needs for networks, telecommunications (physical infrastructure), private LTE, VHF radio systems, Industrial Control Systems (ICS), and process control or automation reporting systems. You will also work with internal/external partners, consultants, contractors, agencies, and vendors to arrive at the most appropriate system or integration of multiple systems. With technology constantly changing, you must stay current on emerging technologies and the potential effectiveness of these advancements for impacts to current service offerings, continuous improvement, and future planning. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

Day-to-Day oversight and accountability of team members to ensure timely and effective service delivery, system uptime and availability; Team development, coaching and mentoring of team members; Human Resource factors including performance reviews, renumeration, and discipline; Execution of governance, policy, cyber security, and procedures; Coordinating training of technical and non-technical workers on the usage of systems; Design and implementation of systems, networks, and infrastructure; Regulate, schedule, and coordinate the practicality of changes and modification of systems; Budget preparation, cost controls, and entry fiduciary responsibility; Project Management; Duties as assigned. *

* Post-Secondary education in a Technology centric field OR Process Control and Automation background with appropriate Technology exposure and experience; 10 years' of IT/OT experience in a mining or industrial setting, 5 of which in a leadership/supervisory role; Vendor certifications are considered an asset; Valid Driver’s License; Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
